Accomplishments
Our talented faculty promote quality education through a standard-based curriculum and best practice teaching methods. This past school year, ACES Xavier again demonstrated our commitment to excellence.
Academic Excellence:
Service Learning:
-
The Xavier class of 2011 performed 27,000 hours of community service for an average of over 200 hours per student. Eighty hours of service per student are required for graduation.
-
By providing opportunities to be involved in service projects and campus ministry, we also help develop students' sense of commitment to others in the community.
Faith Formation:
-
Daily prayer, weekly liturgies, and service learning are integral parts of the ACES Xavier experience.
- Students experience regular visits and involvement of our parish priests.
- Through religious education focused on Catholic teaching, leadership training, faith integration and service-learning, ACES Xavier produces graduates willing and able to make a difference for Christ.
- Through Campus Ministry, St. Joseph Middle School students are given developmentally appropriate opportunities to grow in their personal relationship with God, serve others, learn about the Catholic faith, receive the sacraments and worship together. Twice a year, each student at St. Joseph's participates in a grade level retreat.
