The ACES Xavier Foundation is the manager of over $5 million in endowed funds that support St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System. The Foundation is charged with overseeing the investment, administration and distribution of over 60 endowed funds. Some of these funds are:
Endowed Funds – An endowed fund may be established in honor or memory of an individual. The most common type of endowed fund is a scholarship fund. Endowed funds are listed in our Annual Report and donors receive an annual statement showing the investment growth of their fund. With an investment of $10,000 or more, donors may establish a need-based scholarship fund that is used to support St. Francis Xavier students through the FACTS scholarship program. An investment of $25,000 or more is needed to establish a more specific type of fund.
Donors may establish endowed funds through a one-time transfer or a planned giving process over several years. Your fund agreement will outline a process to make your gift achieve the desired result.
General Scholarship Fund - This is a fund with no minimum investment required to contribute. This fund provides needs based general education scholarships to students in all grades and at each school.
Capital Improvement Fund - This is a fund with no minimum investment required to contribute. It provides resources for the upgrade and improvement of physical property and buildings owned or leased by St. Francis Xavier.
The ACES Xavier Foundation Board meets quarterly. The final meeting of the 2012-2013 year is May 14, 2013. Board approved minutes:
