2012 – 2013 ACES Xavier Scrip Program
 

WHAT IS SCRIP

  • Scrip is a gift card resale program in which St. Francis Xavier Catholic School families & friends can participate. The gift cards are worth exactly what you pay for them, and generate revenue.  When you take advantage of Scrip, you earn money just by making your regular household purchases.  Instead of paying with cash or credit, you use prepaid gift cards 

REVENUE AND CREDITING

  • St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System purchases gift cards at a discounted rate from participating vendors. The percentage of discount varies by vendor, indicated on the order form.
  • Because St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System purchases Scrip at a discounted amount but sells it at its full value, every dollar of Scrip that you purchase generates revenue and is split 65/35.
    • 65% of the revenue is posted as a payment on your account to offset tuition and other fees. There is no cap on this amount. 
    • The remaining 35% of the revenue is used first for costs associated with the Scrip program (staff, shipping, etc.) and then provides general operational support to St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System.
  • Purchases made between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013 are applied to tuition and fees for the 2012-2013 school year. Purchases after March 31, 2013 will be applied to the 2013-2014 school year and will not appear on your statement until billing for that period begins. If the account has a credit balance at the end of the 2012-2013 school year, the balance will be carried over to the 2012-2013 school year if there is a registered student in the family. If there are no students enrolled from the family for the 2013-2014 school year, Scrip credits earned after March 31, 2013 are applied 100% to support ACES Xavier educational programs.

St. Joseph Middle School              8:00-4:00
Xavier High School                       7:30-3:30  

Scrip will not be available when school is not in session.
Special hours will be announced for holidays and summer.  

PURCHASING AT A CAMPUS

  • All campuses use a computerized ordering system. All orders must be entered on the website or using a designated campus computer. Volunteers and office staff will gladly assist you.
  • Availability of gift cards for each vendor is limited at each campus. Please place large orders in advance using the Scrip Hotline or website link. Large orders may take up to one week to fill. Please plan accordingly.
  • Orders over $2,500 must be paid for with cash or cashiers check.

ORDERING ON THE HOTLINE
Call 735-6767 for the Scrip Hotline answering service. Orders MUST BE received by 7:00 AM to be available for campus pickup by the end of the school day.Whenever possible, please use the website to place your order rather than the Hotline. The website ensures accuracy and you will also receive verification that your order has been received. 

ORDERING ON THE WEBSITE

  • Go to the website link at

    Follow the instructions and prompts.
  • Orders MUST be picked up at a campus. They WILL NOT be sent to you.
  • You will receive an automated e-mail letting you when your orderwent through and a personal e-mail when your order will be ready for pick up.
  • All orders via internet are processed and filled at St Joseph Middle School. Orders MUST BE received by 7:00 AM to be available for campus pickup by the end of the school day.
  • You will be notified via e-mail if we are out of stock of any item that you ordered online.  We will send you what we have in stock and give you the new $ total.
